This past Christmas Sew Purposeful, Inc. donated fleece blankets to Newgate Mission. Newgate Mission is a homeless shelter and provides meals every day to homeless men, women, and children in the city of Longview, TX. They serve about 905 meals per week, provide transportation and showers, and assist with filling prescriptions. The goal was to provide 30 handmade blankets; however, 15 were handmade and 15 were store bought. It was a blessing to give and of course, the mission and recipients were truly grateful.
