Thanks for joining me!

Sew Purposeful, Inc. is first and foremost a ministry.  A ministry to help those in need by making handmade items, such as blankets, quilts, scarves, beanies, tote/draw string bags, zipper bags, sheets, and some clothing.  The idea was birthed and lead by the divine Holy Spirit out of the context of purpose.  What was God’s purpose for my life and what did He want me to do?

A few years ago, I couldn’t find a certain color of curtain for my daughter’s room.  Long story short, the thought came to mind to make them, so I did — by hand (I did not own a sewing machine at the time)!!! The end result was not bad, not bad at all.  The sewing bug had bit!

I didn’t want to sew just for the sake of sewing but wanted to sew with a purpose.  I wanted to be a blessing to others in some way.   Of course, I realized I could not do this alone but envisioned a team of people who would share in this ministry with me.
