The Homeless Resource Day is a collaborative effort of the City of Longview and various non-profit organizations to help meet the needs of the homeless.

Goal:  In one day, a person experiencing homelessness can find or enroll in and receive services that would otherwise take months to secure.  Corporations, nonprofits and government agencies provide participants with services.

The focus of the Homeless Resource Day is for attendees to actually receive services or be able to actively enroll in programs.   Those entities that are not able to directly provide service are encouraged to volunteer.
